New members

Two club membersBraid welcomes new junior and adult members of all abilities. If you would like to join, please request a membership form from Rick Baker whose details are on the Contact us page. There is a one off joining fee of £20 for new members.

Not sure if it's the club for you? Why not come along to a social tennis afternoon and meet some members? Contact Rick Baker or Susie Jackson to arrange for a member to meet you and sign you in.

You can also read the Club rules to find out more.

British Tennis membership

All Braid members are asked to take out British Tennis membership.  This can be done for free as the club is a registered ‘Place to Play’ with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). It gives you a British Tennis number which you must have to play in any team. It also entitles club members to enter the Wimbledon ticket ballot and increases the club’s allocation. Visit the LTA website to apply.

Wimbledon ticket ballot

Members are eligible for entry to the annual Wimbledon ballot. This allows you entry to the draw to purchase Wimbledon tickets. You now have to opt in for the Wimbldon ballot on the LTA website.  For details, go to the Wimbledon ballot procedures page.

Welfare

In line with recommendations from the LTA, parents can download a brief parents' guide to child protection (Word, 29KB) at Braid Tennis Club. You can also download an information sheet for children and young people (Word, 31KB).  All coaches and members involved with junior tennis have an Enhanced Disclosure.

Please contact our welfare officer Gareth Evans if you have any queries or concerns by email  or mobile 07747 144769.
